Look who stopped by for a visit! Supriya, seems she’s also turned into an elder but she still has a strong pack of abs and fitter then almost any Sim we know.

Rogue has been helping a lot with the kids homework and spending time with them after school.
Leisure Day came, but the summer weather was not cooperative. It was plenty warm but it stormed the whole time.
It was a shame because the camping grounds were beautiful and the family ended up staying in the tent the whole day.
Well except for Marcella, she just HAD to take some selfies.
Penelope went into labor! Please introduce…………….a baby girl! Her name is Holly Tarley. It was bittersweet knowing she’s the last child between Rogue and Penny.
It was season premiere night and while Holly was sleeping the whole family snuck away to watch the new episode of Game of Groans.
Rogue still had his mission, once he finally got his suit completed and went back to the lab to explore below.
The plants were everywhere, moving and spreading like vines.
He was not expecting what he found! He tried talking to it but the ‘mother plant’ basically screamed at him and he ran out. Next step was to make a vaccine for the townies and then maybe some of them could help him fight against this thing.
So we’re going to start off with another birthday, Snuggs aged into an elder kitty!
But we have good news, Penelope is pregnant! This will be her last child.
The kiddos are definitely enjoying their summer. They’ve been playing with their friends almost every day.
Although some of the boys took part in the neighborhood brawl event, no one in the family liked it actually and chose to ignore it. That is until Jonah got beat up by Dario Jang, then he started doing it too.
Meanwhile, the girls watched. Marcella and Cassandra’s daughter Araceli were becoming best friends.
When they say that older cats get sick faster, they mean it! Not a day went by when Snuggs became sick and Penny had to take her in.
Also a new development happened near the vet clinic. Looks like Malcolm’s wife turned him! Must be that whole evil eternal love bit.
Penny made sure to enjoy the summer too, there was a heat wave going on and the best place for that was in the cooling waters of the local swimming pool.
Rogue made sure to stop by after his day of work too, ya know for an “old man” he still looks good.
I’m telling you, birthdays all around! It’s time for Marcella to age into a teenager 😀

Jonah Tarley, aged with the Happy Toddler trait and gained the Genius trait with the Rambunctious Scamp aspiration.
Penelope made sure to make her signature chocolate cake and was so very proud of her little boy growing up.
Now that he was big enough to play with his older sister without being a bother, he spent a lot of time with her and his new classmates.
Rogue also found the location to Sylvan Glade!

It was also Rogue’s birthday! “Elder” is such a relative term. Was he getting older? Yes. Did he feel old? No.
He also still couldn’t let it go, it felt like years that he was trying to figure this mystery out. He’s just glad that Strangerville has been quarantined, because if it spread than there was no stopping it.
It finally happened. Penelope took up the courage to confront her cheating husband. She tried to pretend everything was okay at home for the kids but she was at a loss. “Rogue, where is she? Who is she?” “What are you talking about, and why are you here? HOW did you even get here it’s quarantined and blocked to civilians?!” “I told them I was your wife, they can’t cover for you anymore! Well, who is the woman taking my husband away.”
“You really want to know? Come here and see.” He pointed to the very obvious alien looking plant nearby. Penelope stood there dumbfounded not understanding, and then he pointed to more from there line of sight and the townies that looked just a little off.
“Honey…what is going on here?” Rogue felt relieved honestly. He told her everything. How at first he was breaking protocol and snuck into a secret lab, and then accidentally released spores into the world. How for the last -who knows how long- he has been trying to correct the very big mistake he made.
“Why didn’t you just tell me!” Penny was so confused. Relieved and hurt all at once. How could he not tell her something so important. But you know, the military.
When they got home they spent some much needed time together, woohoo couldn’t fix the problem but it would certainly help.
She would never admit it to him, but age does take a toll…
So Jonah decided to skip school with his friend Tylor.
They spent the morning at the Ancient Ruins talking and playing. His grade lowered a letter and as a genius he wasn’t too thrilled about that but he didn’t think anyone would notice and he was right. His parents had so much going on that they just always expected him to do the right thing. Which he did most of the time, but he was still a kid and kids wanted to do stupid stuff and have fun.
Also, doesn’t Jonah have the coolest room? I’ve been waiting for this Pufferhead player-made pack.

So I wanted to give a shout out to the evil, growing family of the Landgraab’s. Wanda and Tylor are Malcom’s younger siblings but after his parents died he became their caregiver. Kyleigh is a vampire and Deandre is too. It’s unsure about Katelyn yet.
Hello! I’m back, sorry I disappeared for a couple of months. You know how it is with life, anyway. A couple changes have been made to my game. First I changed the default skin, I’m not sure if I like it but I’ll be keeping it for now. Secondly, I’ve gone through and taken out some bad CC but that really shouldn’t effect anything because I don’t think it was stuff I was really using. I also had to go through and update some of the mods I was using (like MCCC, etc.)
We’re starting off the chapter with… While everyone slept, Rogue went back to the lab now that he had a key card- couldn’t keep his curiosity in check.
“Plum…” Is that pollen? Rogue couldn’t quite make it out, but whatever they were- they were floating out in waves. It gave him a really bad feeling.
After descending lower, Rogue walked into a cloud and then blacked out.
When he finally woke up and was able to get out of the lab, the skies in Strangeville were different.
“What…did I DO.”
Meanwhile, Penelope’s birthday finally came and she’s an official adult now. Goodbye younger years.
Rogue came back, still acting different. Any time Penny tried to ask him about it he switched the subject or immediately went to spend time with the kids. Penelope was almost assured he was cheating on her.
“What is this buddy? Is it a baba?” “Daddy, dat a bawtle siwwy.”
At that moment, Rogue realized he was missing out on his family’s lives.
“Why am I learning this?” “Penny, self-defense is always a good life lesson to have..” “But I’m not in the military Ro.”
Rogue let her whine, but he felt more comfortable knowing she could protect herself and even the kids if it ever came down to it. With everything going on in Strangerville, he didn’t want to take any chances.
Also, it’s a sad day in Willow Creek. Bella and Mortimer Goth have passed away. I found a cemetery in the Gallery that I placed right across the street. It’s in Day of the Dead theme so I felt that was perfect with Bella’s family ties.
Rogue learned how to manage his time better. He looked for clues while on the job so he could be home at normal hours so Penny didn’t worry so much.
The town was changing though, alien looking plants started growing everywhere.
And the citizens were acting strangely.
Back home it was Jonah’s birthday! Happy birthday!

I decided to switch the living area around with the kitchen, it was starting to look weird having the bedrooms connected straight to the kitchen and turned the ‘legacy room’ into Jonah’s bedroom.Also used the photo booth to get some family photos done.Jonah’s RoomRogue’s collection so far.
Penelope: Priya, here take it. I trust you so much and I know you’d be there to help with the kids if I asked.
Supriya: Wow Penny thanks, but you have Rogue so why am I getting a key?
Penelope: He’s gone all the time now because of the military and I want to start going back to work too, it’s just in case. I hope you’ll never have to use.
Jonah’s early years felt like time past in a blink of an eye, before we knew it he was running around the house chasing the cats. Both he and Marcella take after their father and look just like him.
Marcella loved being a big sister, at first I thought she would be mean but she was never upset.
When Rogue had time off, he really missed fishing and wanted too but it was still too cold outside. I suggested ice fishing but he said it wasn’t possible because it wasn’t frozen solid and it’s too cold to stand out there without some kind of warmth.
Snuggs still followed him everywhere and when he came home she immediately would go greet him, he also got a promotion! With a nice new medal too, I’m so proud of him.
We set up an area to showcase his awards in the living. I still wouldn’t talk about anything with I would ask, saying that it was all confidential and he could get in a lot of trouble but it just makes me worry. He’s been acting strange lately.
It was time for Marcella’s birthday! I can’t believe I have a grade schooler now, 6 years old. Wow!
My baby girl is getting so big and right now she says she wants to be an artist. She also loves to clean, which honestly is a warm welcome with how crazy this house gets these days.
(Rogue) I hate keeping secrets from Pen but this is top secret. I’m likely to go to prison just for finding this place…but plum a secret lab?! What are they doing here…
That’s when I started collecting evidence that I could, the military have a lot of ‘red tape’ around this place. Any questions are answered with saying that it doesn’t exist.
I’ve discovered I need some sort of keycard to get into the main door, whatever is behind it I think is what has all the Strangerville citizens acting well..strange.
I’m ashamed but I resorted talking to the nuts of the town, but perhaps they’re really the only sane ones here.
I mean, come on. I was in my own way retired from the military from what happened. I was hurt, my men were killed. I was honored with a medal (that I promptly threw away) because it would never bring my brother back.
And here I am, back in the ranks for some secret I’m not allowed to know. Screw that, I’m going to figure it out.
I went ahead about bought some bugs from that kid to plant on any of the military personnel I thought might be involved. It was harder than I thought because one woman named Tia, my commanding officer…well I think she has the wrong idea. When she came in and hugged me I quickly planted the bug on her and stepped away. Yeah, I’m good. I’m a married man, I’m a married man..
Meanwhile, I tried waiting up for Rogue most nights but he seemed to getting home later and later these days and when he was home he was too distracted. I’m starting to fear the worst..
Marcella crawls into bed a lot with me, even Jonah since he’s really clingy. I need to get a new bed, this one is getting pretty old and the cats have torn it to shreds.
It was about 3am when I heard a strange noise coming from the entrance room, Rogue had a bunch of equipment and it sounded like radio noise. When I asked him what was going on, he shut the screen off and said it was nothing.
Oh, I got a promotion! I’m finally in the kitchens cooking. My hard work has been paying off and I’ve been working on my gourmet cooking. I was told if I had an amazing dinner party it would help my career..so now I have to plan one.
Jonah wasn’t just clingy with me, it was more so towards his sister. He followed her everywhere and babbled her ear off but she took it in stride…most of the time.
Another New Year came around, and we all celebrated together. Even Supriya showed up!
Priya: Girl, you look horrible. Why didn’t you tell me you were sick?
Penny: How can you tell?
Priya:….You have stripes all over you! You need to go to the hospital, where is Rogue he can stay here with the kids while I take you.
Penny: He’s gone…again. Oh Pri, I think he’s cheating on me. He’s always gone and even when he’s home we haven’t had any…
Priya: We’ll figure that out later. Right now, I want you to go to the hospital and get better. I’ll stay here with the kids and when he comes back I’m gonna kick his plum ass.
Penny: Thanks…but don’t say anything to him. I could just be over reacting..
Priya: Or you might be right on the money.
After the ball dropped I got a text from an unknown caller with a location. I kissed the kids and left, they were all going to be in bed so it should be okay.
I hear you have some information for me…about what is going on around here.

Rogue: “Marcella Tarley! You cannot throw your food on the floor like that, look now the cats are making a mess.”
Marcella: “But…daddy they hungy too!”
Sigh. For a military man, Rogue really is a sap when it comes to his daughter. A toddler and four cats really are a handful, Rogue and I have been talking about giving the kittens up for adoption but we want to make sure they go to good homes first.
Speaking of military, Rogue is working his way up the ranks, and has brought him a new medal with a nice case to put them in. I’m so proud of him.
As for me, we have made it past the danger zone and I’m nearing full term! I’m so happy and relieved, oh also I found out the gender of my new baby thanks to the doctor. Rogue didn’t want to know, he likes the surprise so I’m keeping it from him until the birth which is hard since I was to decorate soooo bad.
I also had a reunion with a girl I used to go to high school with, Blair Harley! Everyone constantly mixed us up because our names are so close and we even sort of look alike. I’m not surprised in the slightest that people think we’re related.
She married a man named Mitchell Kalani and has three beautiful kids: Autumn, Zaiden, and Kirsten. I took Marcella with me so she could be around other kids, I know they’re older but it’s still nice to get out.
I also decided to let them adopt Nibbler, Marcy was really sad but I told her we could visit anytime and her new family already loves her.
Winterfest came around again, but this time I had a house full! Rogue seemed to really enjoy helping decorate which was nice, because my back and feet were killing me. Honestly I laid around a lot while he did most of it.
Poor Snuggs ended up getting sick! Poor baby, so of course we made an appointment and took her in.
They fixed her right up and she got the cone of shame. I’m sure Whiskers is going to get a kick out of that since it was him last time.
We also rehomed Cashew! Don Lothario wanted a companion for his son Jaxton, and they’re so famous and rich it was hard to pass up. Cashew will be living the high life now, he even has a cute blue bow on his collar. Good luck Cashew!
Father Winter came to visit and dropped of presents for Marcy. She has been excited all day for him to come, but by the time he did show up she was ready for bedtime and super cranky. I hope that doesn’t mean she gets put on the naughty list.
Rogue got me a yoga mat and I gave him a vampire encyclopedia. I don’t know why but ever since he started working again, he’s been curious about anything supernatural and strange but he won’t talk to me about it.
Every night he marches in the snow too, something about it helps build up his resilience to the cold. Whatever, I’ll drink my hot cocoa and watch from the window.
We also made sure to spend plenty of time together as a family, Marcy loved helping her daddy build a snowpal while I took the more leisurely route and just made snow angels.
….and shove snow in his face. HA!
We spent Winter Solstice with the Goth’s this year. Alexander moved out and is living in the city with his husband Izzy Fabulous with their daughter Breana. Her name is actually pretty cool it’s Breana Fabulous Goth.
Cassandra married Salim Benali and together they have twins, a boy and girl named Araceli and Javon. Which is perfect because now Marcy has some friends.
All the holiday visiting left me exhausted and most days I was on the couch laying around while Marcy played on her tablet. Don’t judge me, being a parent is hard work sometimes.
Baby #2 is finally ready to arrive! Rogue stayed home with Marcella and I decided to go to the hospital alone. He didn’t like the idea and wanted to be there but I didn’t want to be more stressed out with worrying about Marcella crying in the hall while I was trying to deliver.
Let’s meet baby #2, it’s a BOY! Welcome Jonah Tarley into the world.

We have a couple additions to the family household! I knew it wouldn’t be much longer because Snuggs was for one, getting pretty big, and for another she kept hiding. We ended up finding her in the front yard for some reason when she delivered her kittens. They look exactly like their parents. Cashew is a mini of Whiskers while Nibbler is a mini of her mother.
Speaking of mini’s, little Marcella has been growing so fast. Every day she is learning something new. First it was rolling over and then crawling!
Before I knew it, Marcy was a toddler and babbling her own language and being the boss of the house. Her first words were ‘dada’ go figure right?
She was also a handful and has a bad habit of putting her toys in the washer. Or at least that’s the excuse I’m going with for why the danged thing keeps breaking. Seriously, I need a new set. I always made fun of the women in the drama shows for wanting a new washer and dryer (like hellooo, get with the times?) But everyone needs clean clothes and I could learn a thing or two from the ladies on TV.
Oh, so there has also been a knew development. Rogue has been called back to duty! He never wanted to talk about the time he served, I assume it was something dangerous and he was probably overseas in Shang Simla or Al Simhara. Either way, there is a base in a town called Strangerville which is near Oasis Springs and he was told to report there for work. It’s probably an hour drive, but he says he’ll take it and it’s still better than his last post.
He also loves to mess with Marcy now that she can actually have conversations with us now. What was that saying “the terrible two’s” … yeah we have that.
Marcella: “Daddy don’t do dat!”
While I love Marcy, I also want more kids. Rogue and I have been trying but I think there is something wrong with me. I’ve had four failed pregnancies and I can’t stop crying. Rogue tries to comfort me and he is upset too, but it’s different since I’m the one physically going through this. Marcella might be my only child.
Now that Rogue is back in the military full time, he’s been training nonstop. If he’s not working out, he’s sparring or marching outside. He’s not as young as he used to be which I think takes a toll on him since a lot of the new personnel are young adults.
Snuggs does not like him stomping around the house.
The one good thing about our work schedules is he works early, first shift and I work second still. My job has been at a standstill, I’m not getting anywhere and I feel like I’m getting too comfortable. I really need to pick up the pace. I guess priorities really do change as we get older.
Little Marcy loves to sneak out of bed even though she constantly asks for bedtime stories. She’s so cute it’s hard to be mad at her.
I think Whiskers and Snuggs feel the same way about their kittens, they get into everything! But they’re still loved. It must be their sizes. Everything smaller is just adorable.
Good news finally came, I’m pregnant! This time I’m going to take it much easier and hope to have a healthy baby.

These cats are driving me nuts! I’ve never really played with pets in my game honestly, or at least not long term. Having 4 cats in the house is …stressful. Especially since 3 of them have the fluffy trait which means constant hairballs. I even used maid service for a day and those drinks you get for awards to keep my sims up so they could clean but this screenshot does not do the house justice at all. List of messes:

ALSO. If you haven’t noticed, I got Strangerville! I haven’t tested out the story, but from here on out Rogue will be my tester. IF you do not want spoilers, please be careful with the next chapters, I’ll post a warning before each one just in case but it’s part of my game now and I’m going to play it.
I have noticed a bug since I’m downloaded it and it’s been really annoying. I’m having routing issues with my pets. Whiskers just goes in and out of the front door and blocks everyone from leaving or entering. I have to reset him constantly and he’ll all of a sudden bombard my sims with the same thing.
I’d like to take this time to spazz out for the next pack! Strangerville. I’m not going to lie, the smiles freak me out but I’m pretty excited about it. The military career is going to be PERFECT for Rogue too, best timing ever.
So this is me, saying that I might hold off on the next chapters until at least the 26th. Happy Simming everyone!
